Provides translator for Hearing Impaired photographers

   Dayle McIntosh Center (Garden Grove, CA) has generously agreed to provide two signers for the one-day Special Kids Photographer Accreditation Workshop in at Samy's Camera in Santa Ana, CA on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

   "Deaf or hearing-impaired photographers should enroll at least a week in advance in order to have this service available to them at the Feb. 26 workshop," says Kathy Rock-Veylit, SKPA board member and Communi- cations Manager for Dayle McIntosh Center, a long-time provider of services for persons with disabilities in Orange County, CA.

   Jennifer Turner, President of Children and Family Photographers of America, was elected as SKPA's new president of the board, replacing MarGreta Jorgenson, who served since 2001.
   The organization, serving both the disabled community as well as professional photographers, has a beneficial mix of professional photographers, professionals in the disabled community, as well as two parents of children with special needs. Remaining board members are:
