Become a Special Kids Photo ambassador in your
community
Arm yourself with lots of ideas and
resources to go out into your community and let them know about Special
Kids Photography of America. Many photographers have been informed about
training, now it's YOUR job to circulate among schools,
libraries, service clubs (Lion's, etc.), therapy centers, support
groups, parent orgs and other areas to let them know that
there are photographers available (you, for one) who are trained to make beautiful
images of children with special needs. Ambassador kit contains CD with pictures,
display resources (as shown), sample press releases and assorted
instructions. It's only $25 (partial donation to SKPA).

CNN interviews Thomas Balsamo
re: special children photos
Thomas Balsamo, Chicago area
photographer, has been involved with photographing special children for
several years. A few years ago, he participated with Sharon Rosenboom in
creation of a book and short DVD about children with autism. We are
delighted to be able to use this DVD in our SKPA workshops.
He is now working on another book that addresses Down syndrome. We
anticipate it to be as wonderful as his last book, entitled Souls.

You can order a nifty kiosk like this for
setting up displays at libraries, banks, community centers, etc. in
order to display beautiful images of children with special needs. List
yourself as a SKPA-trained photog- rapher who can provide additional
information. SKPA has photos that can be ordered for the display, if
needed. Also, this display company (Godfrey Grp) has consented to
provide a 20% disc. |
