ACCREDITATION
Complete the 4 steps!

Complete
the 1 day accreditation
workshop
-
Complete
and pass the 2 part
test
-
Submit 3
letters of referral from parents
-
Submit
4
photos (your own images)
of 4 different special children (or created in different years)
Photographers
may achieve "Special Kids Photography Accreditation" by
satisfactorily completing the training and demonstrating their willingness
and ability to photograph children with special needs.

Complete
the Special Kids Photography of America workshop
-
Successfully
pass both the 1) special child exam 2) photography exam (If you are PPA
certified, you may omit the photography part
-
Submit 3
letters of support from parents (children you have photographed)
-
Submit 4
of your own personally created photographic images of children with disability
or serious illness for review by our accreditation panel (8x10 prints
or digital files). Use the SKPA Photo
Submission Form. If possible, also provide a SKPA release
signed by the parent and yourself for each photo. See SKPA photo
standards
to help guide you in submitting your photographs for accreditation.

to consider participation in the "Smiles
for Katie" program

Be willing
to consider studio promotions to benefit Special Kids Photography

Renew
application with one qualifying photograph every 4 years

not employees of Special Kids Photography of America. SKPA does not
underwrite nor accept responsibility for any action or service performed
by a photographer who has achieved SKPA accreditation or is listed as a
