ANSWERS

  1. When will there be a training in my area?
    We have requests for training from all parts of the US and as far away as Puerto Rico. We would like to be able to fulfill all the requests that come in. But currently, securing enough interest for training is up you! Gather at least 10 photographers together who are eager to be trained. For additional information, go to our training web page. Email us to begin the process. 

  2. How can I help bring a training to my area?
    You can go to our training web page for details. If you have had experience, share your own experience with others in your area (don't be shy). Get back to us with time and date so we can consider posting this information on our website.

  3. How can I become a SKPA accredited photographer?
    Go to the accreditation page on our website and review standards necessary for meeting the the requirements of becoming a Special Kids Photography accredited photographer.

  4. How can I get photographic info. w/o attending a training?
    Go to the tips page on this website. The tips are just a brief review. The next best source is the book, Photographing Children with Special Needs and our Accreditation Clinic Study Guide, both available on this website. Click here to visit our bookstore.

  5. In what ways can I volunteer for SKPA?
    Go to our support us web page and check out all ways you can help. "Volunteering" may include setting up a training in your area or simply contacting your local newspaper office with a press release about the Photographing Children with Special Needs book or photographic services available in your area.

  6. Is Special Kids Photography of America nonprofit?
    Yes. We are incorporated in the State of California as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable public benefit corporation.
